Ultima-Sermorelin

Sermorelin is a synthetic version of growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH), an endogenous hormone that stimulates natural growth hormone production. Also known as growth hormone releasing factor and GRF 1-29, this compound is categorized as a compound that stimulates increased secretion of growth hormone from the pituitary gland.

 

 

Sermorelin increases growth hormone production, thereby increasing muscle mass, reducing body fat, supporting recovery, improving sleep quality, enhancing flexibility and joint health, and enhancing overall health and well-being.

 

Sermorelin is used to treat poor growth development (typically in children) due to growth hormone deficiency. It stimulates the pituitary gland to release more natural growth hormone.

 

 

Similar to natural GHRH, Sermorelin works by binding to the growth hormone releasing hormone receptor (or GHRHr) in the anterior part of the pituitary gland. There, it works to stimulate growth hormone production and increase endogenous IGF-1 production. Since Sermorelin functions similarly to GHRH, its positive effect on growth hormone secretion is regulated by a negative feedback mechanism initiated by somatostatin, the endogenous hormone also known as growth hormone inhibiting hormone (GHIH). This prevents excessive, unhealthy growth hormone levels in the body and mirrors more natural patterns of fluctuation in growth hormone concentrations.

 

Sermorelin’s natural action mechanism prevents the shutdown of hormone production typically associated with direct replacement with hGH. Additionally, Sermorelin has been shown to improve sleep quality, increase the duration of restorative slow-wave sleep, and increase sleep-related secretion of growth hormone while reducing cortisol production (a catabolic stress hormone).

 

 

Mode of Administration: Subcutaneous injection, usually to the abdomen or abdominal area.

 

Before administering Sermorelin, always ensure the use of a clean and sterile syringe.

 

Hold the Sermorelin vial upright and place the syringe in the center of the cap.

Draw the plunger to the correct amount (see ‘Dosage’ below) and carefully remove it.

Before administration, cleanse the area of skin with alcohol.

Pinch the skin around the area to be injected, leaving about 2 cm on each side.

Insert the syringe into your skin at a 90-degree angle and swiftly inject the syringe.

Depress the plunger fully until the syringe is empty and carefully remove it.

 

 

Dosage Amount: 100 mcg to 1000 mcg (0.10 mg to 1.0 mg)

Dosage Frequency: 1 – 3 times daily

 

Sermorelin can be administered once daily before bedtime or divided into 2 – 3 smaller doses throughout the day. Both administration approaches can be effective and have shown positive results in clinical studies.

 

Despite its relatively short half-life, Sermorelin has been shown to increase growth hormone secretion for up to two hours after administration. Protocols delivering three daily doses of as little as 100 mcg (0.10 mg) per administration have been shown to cause a significant increase in growth hormone and IGF-1 secretion.

 

 

Sermorelin may cause several mild side effects, including pain, swelling, and redness at the injection site. Systemic side effects such as flushing of the skin, headaches, difficulty swallowing, dizziness or fatigue, hyperactivity, hives, nausea and/or vomiting, change in taste, pallor, and tightness in the chest may also occur.
